Organisation
This statement applies to Carey International, Inc., its Subsidiaries, Licensees, Franchisees, and Alliance Partners (referred to in this Statement as ‘Carey International’).
Organisation Structure
Carey International consists of Carey International, Inc. (a US company) and its subsidiary companies, including Carey UK Ltd (a UK company) and its subsidiary companies, and a global network of Carey-branded Licensees, Franchisees, and non-branded Alliance Partners. Carey International provides chauffeured services to Carey International clients in over 1,000 cities worldwide.
Chauffeured services are provided to Carey International clients who may be traveling for business or leisure purposes. Over 80% of our business is operated by a Carey-owned operation or a Carey-branded Licensee or Franchisee sourced from the same country as the area of service.
Defination
Carey International considers modern slavery to encompass:
- Human trafficking
- Forced work, through mental or physical threat
- Being owned or controlled by an employer through mental or physical abuse or the threat of abuse
- Being dehumanized, treated as a commodity, or being bought or sold as property
- Being physically constrained or having restrictions placed on freedom of movement

Carey International endeavors not to enter into business with any organization in any part of the world that knowingly supports or is found to involve itself in slavery, servitude, and forced or compulsory labor.
Carey International is committed to ensuring that no labor provided to or by Carey International in the pursuit of offering its services is obtained by means of slavery or human trafficking. Carey International has promulgated its commitment throughout the organization.
